The Northumbria was created to withstand all "strenuous pursuits" as Barbour describes it. Acctually even in arctic conditions which means that it's quite warm compared to the other classics. It has thick wool-polyester lining and two usuful hand warmer pockets, lined with soft moleskin. This is not to confuse with the new version, named "Classic Northumbria". This is the original. This is the right one. This is perfection.

And on the more important note: Of course it has detachable inside game pockets.

Dates: 1979-2000

Original price: £58

This one is in great shape, we can proudly sell it without any bigger concerns. It has plenty of great wax left and is ready to rumble the cold autumn weather better than any new jacket.

Size info:

On paper: "C40 / 120 cm" (official size stated)

Our opinion: Medium/Large depending on layers underneath.

Chest: 64 cm (armhole to armhole)

Sleeve: 60 cm (from shoulder point to cuff)

Back: 90 cm (from neck to bottom)

Remember that this is an actual garment measurements, please remember to allow room for some additional layers. Easiest is often to measure a garment you already have and enjoy.

Cost calculation (if you wonder why it costs what it costs):

Cost price: £70 (circa 809SEK)

Handmade box: 113SEK

Hangtags & details: 63SEK

Total cost: 985SEK (taxes included, as in the price of 1899SEK)

The profits of each product will then cover everything else, such as rent for offices and premises, administrative costs, product photography, web costs, card fees and so on. And who knows - one beautiful day perhaps even a little pay to us who work here (we're not there yet, that's for sure).
