The Gamefair jacket is a true classic, not only is it comparable to the Bedale, it's design acctually laid the foundations for both the Border and the Bedale. It premiered at the York Game Fair where John Barbour sold it from a trestle table at a great public success (makes you remember that everybody acctually starts somewhere).
Dates: 1960-1997
Original price: £7
This one is quite beaten up. We love it and don't want in any other way (new Barbour jackets gives us the shivers) but we want to be honest in the describtion. It has multible small wholes in it and it has resently been washed with means that the wax is equal to zero. However, positive is that the jacket is really clean and neat otherwise. And once again - the good news is that you will look like a true british gentleman and not like a spolied little brat. That we love!
